Two type sof Sushi

Japan is a country consisting of several islands surrounded by seas rich in plankton because of a meeting between hot and cold currents flow. Japanese waters rich in marine products. The topography is a mountain that has been established for agricultural land. Japan always take food from agricultural and marine. The art of cooking emphasizing what nature provides. Sushi, which is a combination of raw fish and seasoned rice, a food is exotic to foreigners, is the daily food Japanese population.

Sushi began centuries ago as a method of preserving fish. It is estimated that sushi originated from Southeast Asian countries. Raw fish that has been cleaned on-press between layers of salt that the overlap with the stone. After several weeks and through the fermentation process, fish and rice can be eaten.

In the 18th century, chef named Yoke popularizing rice seasoned with vinegar, salt, and sugar, then menghidangkannya with other mixtures such as sliced raw fish.

There are two types of sushi that developed at that time based on the shape, Kansai and Edo (now the Osaka and Tokyo). Kansai region of sushi is sushi rice and other ingredients in the form of a decorative forms, while the Edo style is raw fish placed on top of sushi rice which is also known as nigiri sushi.
